Bolger & O’Hearn develop formaldehyde free binder
The chemicals company Bolger & O’Hearn has developed a new Formaldehyde Free and APEO free print and finish binder for textile and nonwoven applications. Altoma Binder 10580, the new product, has excellent fastness properties and very good mechanical stability while keeping a soft hand, according to the manufacturer. This may allow the product to be used in printing, finishing, as well as coatings for textile and nonwoven substrates.
