“With the deadly coronavirus raging across the world and a global face mask shortage, BYD mobilized its resources for the production of masks,” said in its newsletter.

“A team of 3,000 engineers, together with BYD’s powerful capabilities in the research and design of molds and industrial equipment, enabled the company to develop high-quality masks in record time.”

World-class manufacturing sites and production lines were specially built, and the company now has the capacity to build 50 million masks per day! Strict quality controls allowed BYD to obtain several important international certifications.
