Lenzing scores A- in VÖNIX Sustainability Index
Fibre producer Lenzing was given a good A- rating in the VÖNIX index (VBV Austrian Sustainability Index) on a nine-point scale between A+ and C- for the eighth straight time this year. Since 2005, about 60 publicly traded Austrian companies are analysed each year on the basis of around 100 environmental and social criteria. The best companies are accepted for listing in the VÖNIX index for a period of one year.

Since 2005, about 60 publicly traded Austrian companies are analysed each year on the basis of around 100 environmental and social criteria. The best companies are accepted for listing in the VÖNIX index for a period of one year.
Lenzing is listed in the group of companies for the eighth straight time.
In the 2012/13 index year, the performance of the VÖNIX index was reflected in a 19.4% gain in value, thus 2.5 percentage points higher than the ATX Prime. A total of 22 stocks (alphabetically listed) will be included in the VÖNIX 2013/14 index.
