Techtextil North America welcomes new exhibitors

Record breaking year for exhibitors at Techtextil North America in the odd year.

With only two months until the doors open to Techtextil North America 2017 in Chicago, IL, the 2017 exhibitor list proves to be the best show held outside of Atlanta yet, organisers report. The exhibition for technical textiles and nonwovens will host more than 151 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions, with a number of companies presenting their expertise for the first time at the fair.

Among new exhibitors will be AG Cilander, a Swiss textile finishing and coating company with experience in fashion and technical textiles. An Italy based Color Service Srl, a leader in the production of automatic dosing systems for the textile industry, will also take part in the exhibition.

New exhibitors

From the US, GTI Graphic Technology, will present its viewing systems, which conform to ASTM D1729, SAE J361, and BS-950 Part 2 standards. The company’s product offering ranges from desktop viewers to colour harmony rooms. All products are manufactured at its Newburgh, NY, headquarters. Another US exhibitor, debuting at the show will be Taconic, a producer of high performance PTFE coated fiberglass fabrics, tapes and belts for a diverse range of applications.

Guangzhou Xibo Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., from China, will present Sileather, a new type of performance leather made of 100% silicone. With the unique advantages of silicone, the company is said to offer an alternative solution of eco-friendly, easy to clean, weatherproof and highly durable performance fabrics that can be used in interior/exterior design, transportation, healthcare, hospitality, marine, etc.

German Pavilion

This year the German Pavilion, organised by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in cooperation with AUMA Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, will host 25 exhibitors at this years' event in Chicago. Among the new exhibitors this year will be Eschler Technical Textiles Ltd., a member of the Schoeller Textiles group. The company develops customised and sustainably developed warp knitted textiles for a variety of applications such as medical textiles, expo, cleaning textiles, special textiles and base layers.

Another German exhibitor, Gruschwitz Textilwerke AG, has a more than 200 years of track record as a supplier of twisted, winded or coated yarns, covering a great range of yarns from natural, chemical and high-tech fibres. Gruschwitz provides solutions for a wide range of industries covering Mobiltech, Medtech, Aerotech, Indutech and Sewtech application segments.

Finally, OLBRICH GmbH, is a Germany based system supplier of intelligent machine and line concepts for the production of web products such as wallpaper, floor coverings, film/foils and technical textiles.
