
Teijin latest solutions on show in Shanghai
The Japanese company will showcase liquid cartridge filters made of Nanofront, an ultra-fine polyester fibre with a diameter of just 700 nanometres for superior filtering.

Teijin Limited has announced that it will participate in Aquatech India 2015, an international water-technology trade fair to be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from August 11 to 13. This will be the first time Teijin has taken part in this trade fair.
Teijin’s booth (1182) will showcase liquid cartridge filters made of Nanofront, an ultra-fine polyester fibre with a diameter of just 700 nanometres for superior filtering. Nanofront is also used for other diverse applications, including heat-shielding sheets in fields such as clothing and industry.
The Teijin booth will also present Tepyrus, a short-cut polyester fibre engineered specially for wet-laid nonwoven fabrics. The fibre offers high-level processing, excellent water dispersion and customization for applications include papermaking and a range of other products.
High-performance, value-added composite materials are one of the four key businesses pillars targeted in the Transformation and Growth Strategies of Teijin’s current medium-term business plan. The strategies include putting placing a top priority on leveraging high-performance materials for advanced solutions that meet diverse demands in the global market for filters.
The annual Aquatech India fair presents high-quality water technologies and solutions. Last year, the event attracted 135 exhibitors and about 6,500 visitors.
