Sukano AG, an expert in the development and the production of functional and optical masterbatches, special compounds and blends for improving the properties of bio and oil based plastics, has appointed Thomas Bernhardt as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management.
Sukano is pleased to appoint a very experienced masterbatch expert with high leadership skills. “The company will be in good hands with Bernhardt at the helm, he brings a depth of business experience“, commented Martin Schmutz, President of the Board of Directors of Sukano AG.
Thomas Bernhardt takes over the function from Wolfgang Schadt, who has been the interim CEO of Sukano AG. The company thanks Wolfgang Schadt for his commitment.
Years of experience
Thomas Bernhardt brings many years of experience in masterbatch business into his new task as CEO. He held a number of senior management positions for Hoechst, Clariant and most recently for Archroma in Singapore. In addition to his appointment as CEO, Bernhardt will also serve as Head of Sales of Sukano AG.
