In a response to imminent requirements for strengthening and promoting the recycling of garment waste, Germany’s DiloGroup is beginning a close cooperation with Italian companies Dell’Orco & Villani and TechnoPlants.

Dell’Orco & Villani is a highly experienced specialist in the field of tearing equipment for recycling textile garment waste, retaining the staple lengths of re-opened fibres from knitted and woven textiles as much as possible to avoid downgrading.

TechnoPlants meanwhile specialises in aerodynamic web forming through air technology with an emphasis on reclaimed fibres, for applications such as acoustic and thermal insulation, car parts, upholstery and bedding.

DiloGroup is a general contractor specialist in fibre preparation, carding, cross-lapping and needling and will act as the turnkey general provider of new complete projects including Dell’Orco & Villani and TechnoPlants as a full services solution to turning textile waste into new nonwoven materials.

More details of this cooperation between the three companies will be announced at ITMA 2023 in Milan.
