Champion Thread names new Vice President of Business Development

The company has promoted Jim Lee to lead its continued expansion into new products and markets.

In his expanded role, Lee is responsible for developing growth strategies and leading the expansion of the company’s diverse textile, consumer goods, and industrial markets.

New role

Prior to serving Champion Thread for eight years as Director of Sales and Marketing, Lee enjoyed a 12-year career in textile manufacturing where he engineered and managed processes and purchasing at Springs Global, Galey and Lord, and LaFrance Industries.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Clemson University and Certifications in Purchasing Management (CPM), Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
