TenCate Advanced Armor North America in Newark, Ohio, has launched a new line of personal protection products, including two soft body armour materials, five soft body armour models, and fourteen hard body armour plates.
The full line of personal protection is designed to offer higher levels of life saving capabilities than those currently available on the market for law enforcement and military operational environments.

Full range
The product launch includes soft body armour materials, soft body armour inserts, and hard body armour plates. TenCate Aramid-Shield 1000 is a uni-directional aramid ballistic material and TenCate Pro-Tector 1000 is a woven aramid laminate multi-threat material.
The TenCate Themis family of soft body armour inserts consists of five models used as protection against ballistic, fragmentation, spike and edged blades.
The TenCate Cratus family of hard body armour plates consists of fourteen models, designed to protect against the full range of handgun, edged blade, and rifle threats typically seen in law enforcement and military operational environments.
