Pertex partners with major outdoor brands for Spring/Summer 2016

Pertex fabrics will be featured a range of its brand partners’ products at OutDoor, from 13-16 July.

Pertex, recognized among outdoor enthusiasts for its lightweight yet highly-durable performance fabrics, will be a prominent fabric of choice among the leading outdoor brands for Spring/Summer 2016.

Pertex will have a broad assortment of its brand partners’ products including new, ultra-light Pertex Shield+ and Pertex Shield AP, which will be introduced at the OutDoor trade show that takes place from 13-16 July, in Friedrichshafen.

We are excited to see the range of Pertex products from our brand partners and to ultimately hear the reaction from their consumers.”

New Spring/Summer 16 gear made with Pertex

Adidas terrex Agravic Hybrid Softshell Jacket is light, versatile softshell using Pertex Equilibrium and Gore Windstopper Active Shell in a hybrid construction. Bergans Uranostind Insulated Lady Jacket is using Pertex Microlight and PrimaLoft Gold Insulation. Black Diamond Hot Forge Hybrid Hoody is an instant classic for all seasons using Pertex Quantum and PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Down Blend.

Crux Turbo Top is an ultralight down half-zip style with kangaroo pocket and self-stowing. Eider lightweight, packable Pulse Polartec Alpha Vest M is using Pertex Microlight and Polartec Alpha.

Also on display are Haglofs Essens III Down Hood Women; Mammut Foraker Hybrid Light Jacket Men; Marmot Helium PFC-free sleeping bag; Millet new-generation thermal LD Dual Langtang Hoodie; and Montane Women's Air Jacket.

Other highlights include Odlo lightweight running Whirl Jacket; Ortovox thin and light Women's Swisswool Light Tec Jacket Lavarella; Outdoor Research ultra-compressible, waterproof Helium II Jacket; Rab ultralight waterproof and breathable Men’s Flashpoint Jacket; Salewa packable, durable and quick-drying Women’s Pedroc Superlight Jacket; Salomon S-LAB X Alp Down Hoodie; Ternua multi-purpose Neutrino Jacket; and Vaude lightweight thermal Men's Freney Jacket III.

Pertex fabrics

Pertex developed new Pertex Shield AP and a lighter weight version of Pertex Shield+, in response for the growing demand for extremely-lightweight, weatherproof outerwear.

Pertex AP is a high-performance waterproof breathable fabric, which features an advanced air-porous membrane to offer the highest levels of durability and performance. Pertex Shield AP is said to offer enhanced comfort across a range of weather conditions and environments and its durable construction is said to ensure reliable protection throughout the garment’s lifetime.

New ultra-lightweight Pertex Shield+ is the brand’s lightest 3-ply waterproof breathable fabric. It is designed to offer extreme wind and water protection with excellent breathability to create the ultimate waterproof performance fabric for fast-moving outdoor athletes and activities, such as alpine climbing, cycling, adventure racing and skiing.
