Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas to expand its offer
This year’s show will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from 3-5 May, with over 500 exhibitors and growing.

The 13th edition of Techtextil North America and the third edition of Texprocess Americas has seen a significant increase in size from their co-location with JEC Americas in 2014, organisers report.
This year’s show will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from 3-5 May, with over 500 Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas exhibitors and growing. This year attendees will find exhibitors from more than 33 countries, which a 25% increase compared to 2014, representing a multitude of product categories.
During the premier three day technical textiles, nonwovens, sewn products, textile technology and equipment event visitors can expect to see leading industry companies showcasing their latest products and technological advancements.
Exhibitors at Techtextil North America
Representing USA will be Premium Industrial Machines of America, which is an exclusive importer and distributor of the Metro-Spezial, Willcox & Gibbs, New-Tech, H&H, Nucleus and Vetron line of sewing and Welding machines. The company will also sell Pfaff Industrial, Fortuna and PMF equipment, as well as spare parts and supplies.
Also coming from USA, Kusters Zima Corporation, the manufacturer of wet processing technology, will present its products. These include dyeing, bleaching, mercerizing and vacuum technology.
From Switzerland is Monosuisse group, which is the leading producer of the widest range of monofilament yarns. The group operates production sites in Mexico, Poland, Romania and Switzerland. It offers the monofilaments for screen printing and filtration fabrics, paper machine cloth, 3D spacer fabrics, conveyor belts, medical, hook&loops, and other applications.
Exhibitors at Texprocess Americas
American Mitsubishi Electric Automation is a manufacturer of Industrial sewing equipment and is an industry leader in automation. Its equipment line is designed for light to heavy applications in industries, such as apparel, leather, fall safety and automotive.
Also from USA is Human Solutions Group, which offers a scope of products and services for apparel industry. Products range from body scanning to size surveys, such as SizeNorthAmerica, from CAD, 3D Prototyping, PLM to SaaS cloud solutions and retail products like Virtual Fitting and MtM.
Browzwear, from Singapore, develops 3D solutions that aim to make fashion designers, developers and marketers more creative and efficient.
German Pavilion
Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas will have special feature areas that include: Pavilions from Germany, Italy, China, Belgium, Taiwan and France, Premier Symposiums, Graduate Student Poster Program, Cool Zone, Global Booth and Lounge, and the SEAMS Pavilion.
The German Pavilion is a must-see feature area on the show floor where over 31 German companies will be represented, organisers report. Some of the German Pavilion exhibitors visitors can expect to see are: expert systemtechnik, Brückner Textile Technologies, and Zwickauer Kammgarn.
Premier Symposium Sessions
Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas is hosting 18 symposium sessions including a three bonus sessions. These sessions are presented by industry experts throughout the technical textile, nonwovens and sewn product equipment industry.
Session topics include: New Fibre Technologies (Basic and Advanced), Auxetic and Protective Textiles, Smart Textiles, Sustainability, Textile Testing, Tensile Structures, Nonwoven Advancements, Welding, 3D Evolution, Short and Long Future of Technology, Reshoring, Wearables, Automation and Robotics, and more.
Graduate Student Poster Program
The third annual Graduate Student Poster Program will feature current graduate students who have specific research in the field of technical textiles, nonwovens and sewn products/equipment.
Schools represented in the Graduate Poster Program are: North Carolina State University, Marmara University (Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey), Georgia Institute of Technology and UC Davis. The top 5 posters chosen from industry judges will be presented during the symposium.
