The next edition of Texfusion, The London World Textile Fair, will take place from 19-20 October, featuring important innovations and a larger range of products presented by the leading international manufacturers. The show is expected to double its number in terms of exhibitors and visitors for this October edition, compared to April this year.
Texfusion responds to an increasing demand of international textiles by European fashion brands, retailers and manufacturers. The show will present a wide and carefully selected range of fabrics, trims, accessories and prints.
Beside the regular customers from the UK, the show has cemented its international appeal with buyers coming from Germany, France, Italy, Northern Europe, Russia and Middle East. For this October edition, Texfusion will have two two halls: The London Technical Textile Fair and The London Home Textile Fair.
The London Technical Textile Fair
Textile Events launches the first show completely dedicated to functional fabrics for sports active wear and work clothing within the UK. The aim of the show is to provide with a complete selection of high quality materials including functional fabrics, membranes plus treatments, paddings, finishes, laminates and accessories such as tapes, yarns, prints, zippers and buttons.
The professionals who come to this fair are the sports fashion designers, product managers, and decision-makers within the UK market. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to discover the new materials, trends, and innovations within the market, organisers report.
According to the show representatives, the response from the UK market has been already very positive, also due to the good timing of the show.
The London Home Textile Fair
The London Home Textiles Fair aims to fill a gap in the UK textile industry for a trade show completely dedicated to home and furniture fabrics. For this first edition the show will present a carefully selected group of international manufacturers showcasing their latest collections.
The British home textile market has grown exponentially during the last few years and the British manufacturers and designers are constantly looking for new fabrics to include in their collections. The production is also driven by an increasing demand of household textiles by the final market and we forecast a rapid growth of the show for the forthcoming editions.
TLHTF visitors will have the unique opportunity to source from the best household textiles manufacturers. Products presented are: duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads/throws/bed runners and blankets, carpets, rugs, curtains, towels, kitchen linen, bathroom textiles and similar.
