Providing a platform
EDANA’s experience in organising high-level dialogues across the supply chain and its expertise in product stewardship is highlighted with the range of events for the various nonwovens sectors, both in Europe, and increasingly, into the key markets of South East and North Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
“EDANA is committed to providing a platform for our members to reach into new regions, and to provide support for developing markets in defining the industry, especially where there is a demand for information about product stewardship, sustainability and innovative approaches to emerging needs,” said Bailey.
Nonwovens Innovation Academy
Bringing 2013 to a close, EDANA will deliver the Nonwovens Innovation Academy, together with the Centre European des Textiles Innovants (CETI) near Lille, in France on the 27 and 28 November 2013.
This will bring together researchers, technical specialists and leaders in the nonwovens industry together for the benefit of the future growth and development of the nonwovens and related industries, EDANA reports.
Outreach Programme
“EDANA’s Outreach Programme, designed to spread our core message and in particular our leading product stewardship approach, enables us to move throughout the world with a great efficiency, especially in improving the value chain’s understanding of the benefits of promoting sustainable products.” said Bailey.
Training courses on Absorbent Hygiene Products, the Fundamentals in Filtration and the general Introduction to Nonwovens are also scheduled throughout 2014, and delivered by Jean-Michel Anspach, Technical and Education Director at EDANA.
