W.L. Gore & Associates, a technology-driven company, will present a new function on the Gore Business Portal: the Gore Fabrics Academy.
The new e-learning platform offers retailers, buyers, floor staff and retail employees with courses about Gore products and services. It is available in 12 languages and will be launched at ISPO 2015.
Training modules
The eight different training modules within the new Gore Fabrics Academy are comprised of stimulating exercises that teach selling skills, as well as creating a knowledge and understanding on how best to match customers’ needs with the right Gore-Tex or Windstopper product.
The courses are separated into three distinct levels of difficulty – foundation, advanced and expert level – and give insights into essential Gore topics like the Gore-Tex membrane, superior climate comfort, responsibility and the three different Gore-Tex product classes Products, Active and Pro.
Maximum flexibility
“The essential idea behind the online training sessions of the Gore Fabrics Academy is to provide users with an innovative tool which helps them to sell the ideal Gore-Tex fabrics to consumers by providing maximum time efficiency and flexibility,” commented Jonas Larsson, Fabrics Division.
The e-learning tools are state of the art with a fresh look and feel, as well as innovative user interaction features like training games, consumer questions and other interactive elements. Each course can be completed in just 15 minutes, with a short test at the end.
