Roica partners will exhibit high-tech performance innovations featuring Roica Eco Smart family of responsibly made premium stretch fibres at this week’s Performance Days trade fair for functional fabrics.
Created by Asahi Kasei to meet modern consumer needs, these Roica advanced families of functional stretch yarns “have become a key part of smart and responsible industry innovation, pioneering new and unique applications for fabric partners”.
Roica EF smart yarns constructed with more than 50% pre-consumer recycled content are certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), owned by Textile Exchange. Roica V550 yarn also has a Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold Level for Material Health product and ingredients. The product was evaluated throughout the supply chain for lower impacts on human and environmental health. Hohenstein Environment Compatibility Certificate shows that Roica breaks down without releasing harmful substances.
Roica partners exhibiting collections made with Roica Eco-Smart family this week are: M.I.T.I., Maglificio Ripa, Penn Textile Solutions, Piave Maitex, Schoeller Textil, Sitip, Sofileta, and Tintex Textiles. Roica partners exhibiting a wide-range of other Roica specialties include: Eusebio, Sportwear Argentona, Taubert Textil, as well as TVB.
“This season, at Performance Days, Roica partners’ premium stretch products set the highest quality standards for performance stretch that is uniquely specialised, certificated and perfectly aligned with responsible performance for active, sportswear, swim and athleisure categories,” the company reports.
