Roth invests in new lab plant for customer trials

An expert in special-purpose mechanical engineering will showcase a new laboratory plant for prepreg applications at JEC World Paris.

Roth prepreg production lines are used to manufacture semi-finished fibre composites, which can later be processed into finished products using pre-impregnated, partially cured thermoset matrix materials.

The company has invested around EUR 1 million in the new prepreg laboratory plant. In collaboration with Roth Composite Machinery, customers and raw material producers can experiment with new matrix systems, fibres and materials without interrupting their own production, the manufacturer explains.
