Shanghai Huafeng Super Fibre Materials has announced its plans to establish a Jiangsu Huafeng Super Fiber Materials facility for the production of artificial leather in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province.

The company will build and implement an industrial nonwovens super fibre material project in the Lu Four Marine Economic Development Zone, Qidong City.

Super fibre material

Super Fibre Material is the company’s third generation of artificial leather that has adopted a three-dimensional network structure high-density nonwoven fabric, which is made of bundles of fascicular superfine fibre with a similar structure and properties to collagen bundle shaped fibres in natural leather.

This product has been filled with microporous form structure polyurethane and has gone through special processing. It combines with processing technologies of the newly developed PU slurry impregnation of the pore structure and the composite surface layer.

It makes full use of the superfine fibre’s huge surface area and has strong water absorbent properties, which allows this ultra fibre material to have the characteristics of fascicular superfine collagen fibres of natural leather.

Similar to natural leather

Superfine Fibre Material is very similar to natural leather in terms of its appearance and performance. It has the advantages of softness, fullness, high hygroscopicity, and it is also comfortable to wear.

According to the company, it is superior to natural leather in the tensile, tear index, and peeling strength. It is also lighter than the real leather, with good shape retention performance and has a high material production rate.

The material has good application prospects in cloth and other fields such as shoes, bags, sofas, car interiors and clothing leather.
