Sicomin, a leading formulator and supplier of technically superior, high strength epoxy solutions, has announced the appointment of two new distributors – Modest Marketing LLC, of Dubai, UAE, and Tila Co, of Istanbul, Turkey. Both partnerships are expected to further support Sicomin’s growing global distribution network.

Modest Marketing is a chemical raw material supplier that imports and distributes composite products to the glass fibre industry throughout the Middle East and Africa. It has developed and grown over the years offering quality products and dedicated customer service to various industries.

Tila Co was established in Istanbul, Turkey, in order to serve a strategic partner for composite materials and derivatives. It offers customers a diverse product offering coupled with an experienced composite technology consultancy team and advice on production process improvement.

New distribution network

Both Modest Marketing and Tila Co will be supplying their respective customers with Sicomin’s extensive range of pre-formulated and custom made epoxy systems that are suitable for a range of market applications.

These include Sicomin’s industry accredited range of Fire Retardant products developed for construction and aerospace applications and Greenpoxy, an advanced bio-resin, which is currently being utilised with great success in the winter and water sports sectors, the company reports.

Shorter lead times

According to the company, the new distribution network will not only provide technical benefits but will also provide shorter lead times for customers with both Modest Marketing and Tila Co holding significant inventories of Sicomin materials to deliver a rapid and flexible supply of materials.
