The new jeans are designed to help those who wear them take care of their skin, without stress and without anybody noticing, manufacturers report.

The garments created by Calzedonia with Emana look like standard jeans. They are manufactured and distributed in Europe exclusively by Fulgar, an Italian company leader in the production of nylon and covered yarns worldwide. Emana, an innovative polyamide yarn with incorporated bioactive minerals, in contact with the body, is said to facilitate heat exchange which boosts skin microcirculation, thus improving skin’s appearance.

Yarn effectiveness

Thanks to its composition, Emana absorbs heat from the body then returns it in the form of far infrared rays, harmless and imperceptible waves of natural thermal energy which are able to stimulate microcirculation at skin level, according to the manufacturer.

The clinical tests, conducted by independent and international cosmetic laboratories, have demonstrated the effectiveness of this yarn, highlighting the following effects:

  • improvement of blood microcirculation;
  • the skin becomes more elastic, firm and soft;
  • reduction of skin imperfections and orange-peel appearance.

“Being totally safe for your skin’s health and certified by Oeko-Tex, Emana is the discreet beauty ally for those who wish to take care of their well-being and look stylish at the same time,” says Solvay.

Combining style and well-being

In order to see the change, wearers are advised to wear these jeans six hours a day for four weeks. According to the manufacturer, properties of Emana are also permanent and remain unchanged even after an unlimited number of washings, because technology is an integral part of this yarn.

“Calzedonia is a leading brand in the industry: we are pleased that it has selected the Emana yarn for some of its garments,” commented Renato Boaventura, President of the Global Business Unit Fibras of the Solvay Group.

“The new Calzedonia jeans with Emana help your skin’s well-being and look stylish at the same time. Cutting-edge technology and close attention to good fit: this is the plus point of the technology called Emana, a safe beauty secret for those who wear them and invisible to everyone else”.
