Sensing Tex, a Spain based technology company, will be one of the finalist companies to present their projects to the public at the 1er Congrés Catalunya Emprèn that will be taking place on 16 July at Palau de Congressos de Catalunya.
The company specialising in the development and marketing of smart textiles, has been selected from a large pool of applicants as one of the best 21 companies in Catalonia to invest.

Sensing Tex portfolio covers sectors such as interior design, security, health, sportswear, automotive and fashion.
The company offers innovative solutions in the form of development services for client products as well as a line of finished products which combine textile with the latest electronics technologies.
Sensing Tex has a large international presence – the company works with brands throughout the world and is a part of various international projects.
1er Congrès Catalunya Emprèn
It is the main point of connection for entrepreneurs and investors in Catalonia, Spain, where entrepreneurs and investors have the chance to network, get to know each other and to do business together, while analysing investment attraction and possibilities in different business initiatives.
Finalist entrepreneurs present their projects to the public with the goal to get funding while investors can choose the best projects in which to invest.
Investment Forum
The Investment Forum is one of the initiatives that contributed to seeing Catalonia recognised as a European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) in 2012, at the hands of the EU Committee of the Regions.
The Forum’s previous event attracted over 700 visitors, both entrepreneurs, private investors and venture capital funds. A prior selection of the 21 best projects was presented to over 150 private investors.
