Eurojersey Spa, the Carvico Group company specialising in warp-knitted technical fabrics well known for its Sensitive portfolio, is to invest around €9 million in expanding capacity at its plant in Caronno Pertusella, outside Milan in Italy.

“The areas involved concern the completion of our new atelier division in the knitting department, which when fully operational will have tewlve looms, the development of a dyeing project with the implementation of new dyeing machines with the aim of reducing water use by fifteen per cent, and the addition of new machinery for the preparation and finishing of fabrics,” said general manager Andrea Crespi.

As a result of continuous investment in new capacity, the company was able to increase its turnover by 27.5% in 2021, compared to 2020.

“Not only that, we can say that we are at up ten per cent compared to 2019, having closed 2021 with a turnover of €80 million,” said sales director Matteo Cecchi. “ The priority objective now for 2022 is to consolidate the results achieved in 2021 and aim for a further increase of five per cent.”
