Multi award-winning outdoor equipment brand Big Agnes, based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, has collaborated with Hyosung in the development of the new Sweetwater UL (ultralight) packs.

The lightweight packs are made with Hyosung’s high-tenacity regen Ocean Robic Nylon – a GRS certified, 100% recycled nylon derived from discarded fishing nets.

While offering the same strength and durability as conventional nylon, regen Ocean Robic Nylon has a 56% lower carbon footprint.

“We were fortunate to partner with Big Agnes for the launch of its first-ever packs in 2021 when the brand celebrated its 20th anniversary,” said Hyosung US marketing manager Laura Nilo. “We are grateful to collaborate with this iconic core mountain brand and its exceptionally talented team once again to bring Sweetwater UL packs to market.”
