Scott Racing Team has chosen partners that have been involved in the realisation of customised outfits dedicated to the team for season 2019. The partnership, which includes Rosti, Sitip and Roica by Asahi Kasei, has given life to high-tech clothing designed to provide light resistance, as well as maximum comfort in the summer season.
The partners are: Roica by Asahi Kasei, a Japanese producer of premium stretch fibre; Sitip, a leading Italian textiles company specialised in the production of stretch warp-knitted and circular fabrics for sportswear; and Rosti, a sports knitwear factory that has designed and produced a fully customised cycling suit. Everything has been entirely produced and finished by hand.
The technical Thunderbike Power fabric by Sitip was selected for the shorts. Produced with the special Roica Resistance, mixed with polyamide, the fabric has been developed to guarantee excellent bi-elasticity and an elastic modulus over time, as well as low deformability. The high density of the threads/cm enhances the article, making it very compact and ensuring excellent fitting, high resistance to pilling, abrasion and maximum comfort. A compression is balanced thanks to this unique stretch yarn. The shorts have been transfer-printed and enriched with rubber-back coated inserts by the low-edges to ensure better grip on the leg and greater aerodynamics.
For the T-shirt, totally transfer printed, the article Bicimania by Sitip is designed to guarantee high breathability and quick drying of the garment, key in the summer season, in addition to comfort achieved thanks to the Roica premium stretch fibre.
