In 2011 Asian nonwoven fabric production increased by 7.4% -- and China accounted for the largest share. The most important category of nonwoven fabric was that of spunbonded and meltblown nonwovens. Looking ahead, nonwoven fabric production in Asia is set to continue growing at a healthy pace in the coming years.
