The Sustainable Alternative and Bio-Based Materials Digital Summit, which is being held on March 30-31 2022, will bring together start-ups, the fashion and apparel industry, bio-based innovators and cross-industry sustainable advocates, to explore key challenges and opportunities in the successful commercialisation of plant-based, lab-grown and circular materials at scale.

Across two days, this industry-led digital meeting is a forum to discuss the latest advancements in material science and sustainable product growth that are powering the new wave of alternative materials and shaping a more sustainable consumer goods industry.

“I was struck by the myriad of truly exciting sustainable approaches to do and make things better as well as the potential for networking with people who can provide the capital to commercialize this work,” said Thomasine Dolan, Fashion Designer, MII, of last year’s inaugural meeting.
