The Lüneburg based company eurolaser will present the L-1200 laser system with conveyor table in action at interzum, a leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design, in Cologne next month.

Processing textiles with a laser tool seals the cutting edge (cut and seal), which effectively prevents fraying. This eliminates downstream work steps, such as linking, which reduces the total time for the processing operation. In comparison to knife cutters, there is no tool wear and the material can be cut in all directions without distortion thanks to the contactless laser processing technique. The precise roller feed via the feeder and the tension-free transportation via the conveyor that has been specially developed for textiles processing are said to ensure maximum reliability in producing high-quality results.

During the live demonstration, the label and ink printer module for labelling individual parts for subsequent process steps will be presented alongside the actual laser cutting method.

For 25 years, eurolaser has been one of the leading providers for cutting solutions with processing tables with widths and lengths of up to 3.20 metres, as well as additional modules for parallel operation, such as for multi-colour direct printing and labelling. The system tables combine Swiss precision and German engineering ingenuity as eurolaser uses the market-tested motion system from Zünd, a leader in cutter systems. The basic structure of eurolaser cutting systems is modular, meaning they can be individually configured to suit customers and their applications.

“Many different processing requirements are taken into account during this process. For example, engravings, markings or labels can be added in a single production step. Other tools can also be seamlessly integrated, for instance for optical orientation of printed labels,” the company explains.

The high-precision systems from eurolaser can process a variety of materials, such as plastics, adhesive films, textiles, wood-based materials and many more. Their high-quality components are designed to guarantee reliability, an extremely long service life and a favourable price-performance ratio for the user.

“After purchasing a eurolaser system, eurolaser is delighted to be able to stand by its customers as a long-term partner, providing competent and fast support, supplying high-quality spare parts and accessories and making customers aware of new options for system extensions,” the company continues.

The eurolaser Academy offers a wide range of user seminars on efficient operation and on-site maintenance for industrial customers. In addition to this, the eurolaser customer service team is on hand to provide user tips and information on further developments and solution concepts, which enable customers to optimise or extend their processing operations.
