To meet growing demand, Autefa Solutions is to supply two complete needlepunching lines for geotextiles to Confidence Infrastructure, one of the leading engineering solutions providers in Bangladesh.

The order includes fibre opening and blending equipment, double doffer cards, Topliner crosslappers with WebMax web profile control, Stylus NL needlepunching machines and winders.

Confidence Infrastructure will produce 300-600gsm polypropylene and polyester nonwoven geotextiles with maximum widths of 4.2 metres. The majority of the production will be used in geobag applications for erosion control.

“We chose Autefa as our partner for this project because of its proven technology in the needlepunching nonwoven field and this contract is the beginning of a long partnership,” said Confidence Infrastructure general manager Shahid Islam.
