BMSvision will exhibit the latest version of its Manufacturung Execution Systems (MES) for weaving, knitting, tufting and spinning, at ITMA Asia 2014 that will be taking place in Shanghai from16-20 June.

All of these systems include software modules for real time machine monitoring, production scheduling, fabric inspection, yarn inventory management and traceability.

Monitoring energy consumption

BMSvision will also present its EnergyMaster system for monitoring the energy consumptions in the plant and reporting of the CO2 footprint of the company.

Energy has become a very important cost element in the textile manufacturing process. The integration of these energy parameters with other MES applications, such as monitoring of the spinning, weaving and finishing operations, is said to provide a perfect insight in the relation between energy consumption and production, allowing quick identification of energy saving potentials.

Inspection system

A new module Management dashboard allows the combined presentation of data available in different software modules into one single web based report. With this tool, the users can create their own dashboard showing important KPI’s at a glance.

The latest version of the Cyclops automatic on loom fabric inspection system has now also been optimised for the inspection of carbon, Kevlar and glass fabrics.

For grey and finished fabric inspections, BMS will show its latest fabric inspection terminal and defect entry software, which is now also available for mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones.

Sensors and systems for spinning

Also on display will be BMSVision sensors and systems for spinning:  BarcoProfile for online quality monitoring on texturizing machines, OptiTwist real time monitoring system for twist level on twisters and direct cabling machines and the OptiSpin sensor for spindle per spindle monitoring on ring frames. All these sensors can be connected to the SpinMaster MES system.
