After four years, the Texcare International fair, the leading trade fair for the textile care industry, again opened its doors to numerous visitors from around the world last month.

Visitors were able to find out about the latest trends, efficient designs and industry innovations. The Hohenstein Institute and the German Certification Association for Professional Textile Services also appeared at the joint trade stand under the motto: Taking a stand. For quality and sustainability.

Key themes

One of the key themes at the trade stand was the RAL Quality Certification Mark 992 as a guarantee for safety through professional laundry services.

The new Management Systems certification centre was also introduced. This tests and certifies companies operating within the textile service industry in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These management systems create competitive advantages through optimised processes and increased customer satisfaction.

The top theme of sustainability was also presented at the stand with the environmental labelling system Hohenstein Sustainable Laundry (HSL). The newly developed HSL method enables company-specific resource and energy efficiency and contributes to environmental protection. Another key topic presented at the stand was the importance of the professional preparation of modern functional textiles.

Conference and lecture programme

To accompany the trade fair, the Texcare Forum offered supporting events with a top-level international conference and lecture programme. Both visitors and exhibitors were able to find out about the trend topics for the industry, such as Industry 4.0, sustainability, textile innovations and training.
