The report also provides data on the size of the nonwovens market and sales achieved by these ten smaller producers of nonwovens.

Many of these producers are benefiting, or are set to benefit, from recent investments. Spuntech has added an advanced spunlacing line at its facility in Roxboro, North Carolina, USA, and Toyobo has invested in a pilot line. KNH Enterprises has added a new spunlacing line at its site in Chengdu, China, while Shalag Nonwovens has completed work on a new line at its site in Oxford, North Carolina, USA, and has recently upgraded an old calender bonding line.

Dalian Ruiguang has brought on stream a carded spunlaced nonwovens line at its site in Ruiguang Industry Park in China and Mogul has invested in a new site in Turkey and in a US operation. Unitika has increased its capacity for producing spunbonded nonwovens at its facility in Thailand, and Tenowo has completed an all-encompassing investment plan.
