Thermore, the thermal insulation expert, will show the full range of its innovative products at the upcoming Performance Days exhibition that takes place from 3-4 November in Munich.
The company will display a variety of solutions, including Classic, Rinnova high technology recycled polyester fibres; EVOdown, an alternative to down; as well as the latest Thermal Booster, the smart insulation designed to adapt to weather changes.
Available solutions
The best insulated garments designed to protect the wearer from different temperatures provide high zippered collars and cinches at the cuffs and/or bottom of the jacket. However, these design components will only give limited extra protection.
Until now, most garments provided only static warmth, because down feathers or synthetic polyfills work as static thermal insulations: they always retain the same amount of thermicity, regardless of the outside temperature, the company reports.
Providing extra warmth
Thermore Thermal Booster is the smart insulation is said to extend the comfort zone of the wearer by keeping users warm over a wider range of temperatures.
According to the company, Thermore Thermal Booster is an innovation in insulation technology, as it provides extra warmth when the weather gets colder. The results obtained by the manufacturer form the independent test laboratories show that Thermore Thermal Booster is over 20% warmer at lower temperatures.
And if the temperature increases, the product automatically re-tunes to the warmer temps, thus keeping you in the comfort zone, the company reports.
Consistent and durable
The Thermal Booster smart insulation is available in three different weight variations to perfectly match most temperature range requirements.
Also, thanks to Thermore’s proprietary anti-fibre migration treatment, the effect is said to be consistent and durable even after repeated washing cycles and heavy duty wear.
