Graphene boosts resin performance

The graphene resin was developed by Avanzare through a collaboration with Ashland, the international chemical company.

“Due to the electrical conductivity of graphene, one can avoid explosions due to electrostatic charges,” explained Julio Gomez Cordon, founder and CEO of Avanzare. .

“Thanks to the graphene, we can produce vessels and equipment in composites instead of the usual metals. They are also cheaper, lighter and with very good corrosion resistance.”

The graphene resin was developed by Avanzare through a collaboration with Ashland, the international chemical company and its lower production costs leads to a 30% reduction in the cost of the final product.
