The report identifies key trends and includes information on: textile trade flows, clothing trade flows, intra-Asian textile and clothing trade, and textile and clothing deficits and surpluses. It also analyses the trade activities of the world's leading textile and clothing exporting and importing countries and regions.

The report presents a wealth of information and is essential for anyone involved in buying or sourcing textiles and clothing. During 2014, world textile and clothing trade rose to a record high, reflecting growth in almost all the major trade flows.

The world's biggest exporter of textiles was China, followed by the EU and India. China was also the world's biggest exporter of clothing, followed by the EU and Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the EU was the world's biggest importer of textiles and clothing, followed by the USA. However, China was the third largest importer of textiles and the tenth largest importer of clothing.
