CBD Denim is a new company based in Casablanca, Morocco, with a focus on manufacturing and supplying sustainable and organic denim clothing for eco-conscious UK brands and retailers.

It is focused exclusively on manufacturing jeans and ready to wear made from fabric “woven from the natural world”, including organic cotton denim blended with natural fibres such as hemp, bamboo and linen, as well as recycled denim.

“CBD Denim offers a one stop shop for UK based brands and retailers looking to effectively satisfy their eco-conscious customers in 2022,” said founder Alexander Levy. “Strategically positioned in Morocco with close proximity to the UK, we offer low minimum order quantities for all sustainable denimwear whilst guaranteeing premium workmanship and quick delivery.”

With a “fabric first” approach, CBD Denim has close supplier relationships with premium denim manufacturers including Evlox (previously Tavex), a pioneer in premium denim manufacturing which manufactures 15 million metres of denim per year at its facility in Settat, Morocco, and benefits from a Casablanca-based private factory and washing facility with an effluent treatment plant (ETP) where water is drained and reused within the laundry.

CBD Denim has the capacity to produce 50,000 units of finished denim garments per month and employs 450 people across its four production lines. All processes are in line with guidelines relating to sustainability, traceability and environmental accountability.

The denim also meets the latest textile standards and has received the relevant certification where necessary, including GOTS, Better Cotton Initiative, Organic Cotton Blended Standard and Global Recycled Standard.
