University of Southern Queensland hosts ACCM-11

This year the conference attracted a record number of 550 delegates from 34 countries.

The conference highlighted the recent developments in areas, such as 3D and 4D printing of functional composites. © USQ/ACCM-11The 11th Asian-Australasian Conference on Composite Materials (ACCM-11), one of the largest composites conferences in the world for 2018, was hosted by the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in Cairns, Australia, from 30 July – 1 August. The conference was co-hosted by University of Sydney, Deakin University and Swinburne University.

USQ’s Centre for Future Materials (CFM) organised the three-day program, which featured 27 themes across 12 parallel sessions and showcased five plenary and 30 keynote presentations. This year the conference attracted a record number of 550 delegates from 34 countries, with the top delegate countries including China, Australia, Korea and Japan.
