Ascend Performance Materials has announced a price increase for its nylon 6,6 polymers, compounds and fibres due to escalating raw material costs.

Ascend Performance Materials, a leading provider of high-quality plastics, fibres and chemicals, has announced a price increase for its nylon 6,6 polymers, compounds and fibres due to escalating raw material costs.
The price increase takes effect starting next month, and includes the following price changes:
- Nylon 6,6 polymers, compounds and fibres in North America (US$ 0.10/lb). As contracts allow, and for non-contract business – price is determined on an order-by-order basis.
- Nylon 6,6 polymers, compounds and fibres in Europe (EUR 0.20/kg). As contracts allow, and for non-contract business – price is determined on an order-by-order basis.
- Nylon 6,6 polymers, compounds and fibres in Asia (US$ 0.22/kg). As contracts allow, and for non-contract business – price is determined on an order-by-order basis.
