The company’s new Paragon HX cutting system features several enhancements for improved user experience and increased throughput, including cutting head modifications for reduced noise and a new dual drill system for improved speed and accuracy.

The HX will also be available in an HX-A configuration designed specifically for the automotive industry, and as an HX-L designed for lingerie and other delicate applications. Productivity improvements to the system's Cut-Ticketing Process, which connects data from the AccuMark system through the spreader and to the cutter, will be demonstrated at the show.

Integrated digital solutions

Also featured at CISMA will be Gerber's integrated digital solutions, which help address the key industry needs of improvements in material utilization, labour efficiency and cost, improved data management and shorter overall time to market.

The digital solution includes Gerber's YuniquePLM comprehensive product lifecycle management software and AccuMark 10 integrated pattern design, grading, marker making and production planning software.

3D visualization technology

Gerber will demonstrate both software applications and highlight its new AccuMark 3D visualization technology, an optional module for AccuMark 10. Gerber's 3D technology is fully integrated within the AccuMark 10. AccuMark 3D incorporates sophisticated 3D graphics and animation technology called Blender, which has been widely used in the animation, movie, video game and simulation industries.

With its simulation capabilities, AccuMark 3D helps the pattern maker to know whether the pattern works in the design, and the designer is able to visualize fit and comfort while allowing for garment refinements – all without actually making the garment.

AccuMark 3D can also export files that can be shared with Gerber's YuniquePLM software to enhance collaboration, making it possible to reduce time and cost in design, sample making and merchandising.
