Pacific Textiles, the Hong Kong-headquartered specialist in  knitted fabrics, engaged Blue Yonder to enhance the efficiency, accuracy and agility of its warehouse operations.

Blue Yonder has replaced a a legacy warehouse system that was unable to support the increased complexity and volume of Pacific’s warehouse transactions.

The new system enables Pacific to gain  real-time visibility into its inventory to fulfil customer orders quickly and accurately and make data-driven decisions to improve its bottom line.

In addition, it is is able to streamline supply chain processes, reduce operational costs and improve service levels to meet the evolving demands of its customers.

The Blue Yonder system easily integrates with external systems, such as material handling equipment (MHE), real-time location systems (RTLS), and transportation management systems (TMS).

“We knew we needed a modern warehouse management solution that could scale with our business,” said Hubert Tsang, CIO at Pacific Textiles. “The recent opening of a new factory in Vietnam will increase the complexity of our operations and additionally, as we seek to gain operational efficiencies through automation, we needed an agile platform that allows for easy integration. We selected Blue Yonder due to its robust, scalable, and integrated warehouse management solutions. Blue Yonder’s reputation for innovation and its proven track record of successful implementations across various industries were key factors in our decision.”

“With Blue Yonder warehouse management, Pacific will be able to create a strategy that focuses on leveraging advanced technology to create a more agile, efficient and responsive supply chain that can adapt to market dynamics and customer needs,” adds Antonio Boccalandro, APAC president at Blue Yonder.
