Customers are looking for machines and lines that are able to produce light weight fabrics without any compromises in material strength, the company says, and the demand for needlepunching technology remains strong for applications such as artificial leather, filtration and paper making felts.

The demand for renewable textiles has also been strong, allowing the wood pulp technology sector to grow, while manufacturers are increasing the use of replacement fibres like recycled PET, reclaimed fibres and various natural fibres such as hemp and coconut.

As a consequence Autefa needlepunching lines are being equipped with options such as optimised bed and stripper plates, advanced needles with conical bed plate holes and optimised feeding systems for pre-needle looms. A dust extraction system is available and recommended when processing recycled and natural fibres, as well as glass, carbon and mineral fibres.

Autefa needlepunching lines distinguish themselves through easy operation, reduced consumption per square metre and reproducible product quality. The Stylus needleloom can process all fibre types and is designed to suit the required output and speed by adjusting the number of  drive modules.
