Technical Absorbents (TAL), the UK based manufacturer of super absorbents and nonwoven materials, is currently looking at further developing its agency set-up and has appointed Brightmoon Innovations to act as an official representative in India.

Technical Absorbents manufacturers SAF super absorbent fibre and supplies a wide range of converted products – SAF nonwoven fabrics, SAF yarns and SAF woven net structures – which are manufactured either in-house or by one of its tolling partners. Over 95% of SAF fibre sales are exported and so introducing a new agent in the Indian market is an exciting prospect for the 25 -year-young company.

Bright Moon Innovations is best known for providing innovative solutions by using new products and technologies around the globe. It has to its credit textile printing, textile sizing, natural crystal technology – Biocrystal – for foam, fibres and mattresses, anti-mosquito finishes for textile and speciality products for terry towel manufacturing.

“Our company is located at Gurgaon, Haryana in India and has customer-centric approach,” explained Swadesh Kumar, Brightmoon Innovations Director, who is also an alumnus of the India Institutes of Technology. He is also consultant for the terry towel and other home textiles industries.

“Furthermore, the company benefits from being located in an area with an advanced infrastructure and network with corporates. This provides ease of access to a vast area of the country. Over the years, Bright Moon Innovations has built a reputation as an extremely credible supplier in its field and continues to work hard to meet, and exceed, its customers’ requirements.”

“The company already has many associates in the Indian textiles and finished goods sectors. This should stand us in good stead. We want to work hard for Technical Absorbents and introduce SAFTM technology to both current and new contacts in the countries’ vast textiles industry. We have already spoken to some medical companies and will continue to explore opportunities.”

Technical Absorbents has previously tried to develop its presence in India and so having a new driving force to push this further is exciting news, according to Paul Rushton, Technical Absorbents Commercial Director. “India has been on our radar for some time. The country is relatively untapped for us and we look forward to supporting Brightmoon in its efforts to recognise sales of SAF technology – fibre, fabrics or yarn – in this huge market,” he said.
