VERDOL, a leading company in filament yarn processing and a member of Reyes Groupe, will be present at the JEC Europe composites show that takes place from 10-12 March in Paris, by exhibiting a complete range of the company’s technologies and machinery for the processing of glass and technical yarns.
VERDOL has expertise in twisting, assembling, cabling, covering and winding of yarns made of synthetic, artificial, natural and mineral fibres. The company designs and manufactures machines for many sectors of the technical yarn markets, including glass yarns, industrial yarns, tire cord, and carpet yarns.
Glass yarns for better productivity
VERDOL offers a wide range of machines designed to maximize equipment performance and high quality therefore, increasing productivity and decreasing operating costs.
At the JEC show the company will present a ring twister RT 88 in operation. This machine will be equipped with the VERDOL’s latest innovations, such as a yarn sensor at the end of the cakes’ unwinding.
Technical yarns
The advanced markets such as aeronautics, space, automotive, marine, energy, sports, mass transportation, and construction, require cutting-edge technology and ever greater flexibility.
The range of VERDOL twisting, assembling, cabling and direct cabling machines, driven by multitalented individual positions is said to fulfil these industry demands, the manufacturer reports.
For ten years, through its huge number of autarkic positions installed worldwide, the UT 60, UTC 60, LTC-IY and UTW 40 machines have been recognised for their performance and being in perfect balance with the demand of the technical textile markets.
Machinery innovations
The Universal Twister UT 60 still gains greater flexibility, the company reports. Different products can be assembled, twisted on each independent position. Individual position can also be combined together for multi-ply yarns process, hybrid constructions, asymmetrical and symmetrical twists, highly versatile strokes, homogeneous and high density constructions.
The direct cabling version Universal Twister & Cabler UTC 60 is said to combine a multitude of design possibilities for a maximum customer benefit.
The Lab Twister & Cabler for Industrial Yarns LTC-IY is fully dedicated for R&D, the company reports. It is the customized version of UT and UTC 60 – a compact look, custom made, fast to unload from lorry and ready to start for very small production lot while sampling.
The UTW 40 is dedicated to 3-ply cord cabling in a single step process. According to VERDOL, it is perfect for yarn construction processing.
M.U.S.T for production control
M.U.S.T. (Monitoring Unit System for Textile machinery) is designed to provide instant plant overview of process information, and quality control data.
The system is presently utilized at major glass and technical yarn producers, the company reports. Together with UT and UTC machines, individual data, such as spindle and take-up speeds, consumption, online yarn tensions on each independent position, can be stored and shared for a total quality control.
