A keynote speaker at the forthcoming EDANA Filtrex 2025 conference which will take place in Vienna, Austria, from March 25-26, will be Frank Möbius, former head of technology scouting and forecasting at BMW Group.

His presentation, entitled Open Innovation, the key to future success for your company, will explore in depth how automotive industry leaders like BMW realise this in their organisations and outline ten important steps in adopting similar approaches.

During his time at BMW, Möbius was actively involved in many R&D projects including those focused on bio-based, biodegradable textiles for vehicle interiors and filter media.

Since mid-2023, he has served as a senior innovation advisor at UnternehmerTUM, a leading European entrepreneurship centre.

Filtrex 2025 will bring together technical specialists and industry leaders from the filtration industry and focus on technological and sustainable innovations, including advances in media performance as well as emissions reduction. The conference will also feature a tabletop exhibition alongside networking opportunities and a cocktail evening.
