Andritz moves into Wuxi technical centre
Andritz Nonwoven is further strengthening its manufacturing programme for nonwovens equipment in China by moving into a new 8,500sqm site in Wuxi New District, China. Today, the new facility has opened the doors to a technical centre that hosts an industrial scale needlepunch pilot line and a new grinding shop.

Today, the new facility has opened the doors to a technical centre that hosts an industrial scale needlepunch pilot line and a new grinding shop.
Technical centre
The neXline needlepunch pilot line of 2.5m width consists of an aXcess card, a crosslapper, and a pre-needler in order to demonstrate the capability of these machines at full speed.
The roll service centre includes grinding equipment and a test stand to provide a prompt service of OEM quality to customers in China and other Asian countries for various kinds of rolls up to 1 metre in diameter and 10 metres in length.

Based on European technology, Andritz Nonwoven offers full line solutions from its base in Wuxi, for example, the neXline spunlace aXcess system.
This complete production line includes an Andritz carding system and a Jetlace Avantage hydroentanglement unit – a concept designed to produce lightweight fabrics at low operating costs.
