O'Neill remains committed to innovation in this product area and it has recently successfully developed a new neoprene material called Technobutter 3. O'Neill is also committed to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, and this is reflected in the number of industry initiatives which it supports—notably those associated with workers' rights. It also supports a number of environmental causes, and has developed a collection of apparel which focuses on the use of environmentally sustainable materials.
