Chinese manufacturer GHC has recently installed a new Reicofil RF5 line in Jinjiang, Quanzhou City, engineered to handle both spunbond nonwovens and high loft products.

The 3.2-metre-wide line has been equipped with a number of complementary technologies from Italy’s A.Celli, including an E-Wind Wave master roll winder and  E-Wind Super Sonic slitter rewinder with a Slittomatic automatic knives positioning system and the Corematic system for automatic shaft handling and core cutting

In addition, a fully automated R-Way Slittopack packaging system at the plant is designed to streamline operations by minimising operator intervention, ensuring both a regular information flow from the production line to the shipping area through data tracking and seamless integration with customer ERP.

As a result, the line provides exceptional operational flexibility for the processing of a wide range of products and basis weights primarily for the absorbent hygiene industry.

“We express our appreciation for the outstanding work carried out by A.Celli, and we want to acknowledge the excellent support provided by the offices in Shanghai and Foshan in terms of sales, project management and on-site service,” said Zemin Wu, GHC’s supply chain director.

Established in 2003, GHC operates two factories built to international standards – GHC GuanHong and GHC GuanHe –and in addition to the Reicofil RF5, has fifteen advanced production lines and multiple post-processing machines, with an annual production of around 60,000 tons.
