The Fitsense technology, developed by Invista, allows the use of finer and technically more advanced fabrics called second skin. Its objective is to reduce the number of seams in sports garments, while guaranteeing the support and comfort properties that are achieved with traditional corsetry garments. The technology has been developed to help clothing producers reduce manufacturing costs, improve the fabric quality and the fit of the garment, in clothing such as tops, leggings and lingerie.

Invista chose Nextil as a reliable partner, with leading expertise in the athleisure market segment. The company has powerful design teams in the field of fabric technology, as well as high-quality printing. In addition, the group makes garments for the leading fashion brands, such as Inditex, Mango, Desigual, and El Corte Inglés, among others.

“In a market increasingly adapted to technology and innovation, the collaboration with a leading company in the sector, such as Invista, will allow us to improve the Group's competitive position with the objective of becoming one of the main players in the growing trend of athleisure,” said Alfredo Bru, CEO of Nextil.

The company says the new agreement will allow Nextil to reinforce its positioning in the sector, boosting the design and sportswear manufacture business unit. “Nextil continues to work, not only in the improvement of its processes, but also in the search for new strategic opportunities within the textile sector, such as the one presented by the agreement with Invista, which will allow it to continue expanding its portfolio of services and products.”

Invista is a leader in the production of high-performance and quality elastane for high-technology and performance fabrics for a variety of sectors, including athleisure, activewear, hosiery and intimate wear.
