MySize partners with Santista Têxtil

Effective reverse logistics solutions address the issue of returns due to sizing.

Omnichannel e-commerce platform and provider of AI-driven measurement solutions MySize has announced a joint venture with leading Brazilian denim manufacturer Santista Têxtil, headquartered in Sao Paulo.

MySize was founded in 2014 to address common problems with  online shopping centred around size uncertainty and the proliferation of items returned due to fit issues. It has developed several measurement apps – MySizeID, BoxSize and SizeUP – all based on patented algorithms and software development kits (SDKs).

These will now be directly marketed to Santista’s extensive customer base which includes many well-known brands. Access to MySizeID can reduce returns for these brands by up to 50% and increase the average size order.

In addition, the recently launched FirstLook Smart Mirror, an interactive, mirror-like touch display for physical stores that offers personalised fit and product recommendations, will be made available.

Every year, returns cost retailers worldwide an estimated $642.6 billion and only 48% of returns can be resold at full price, while $5 billion of returns end up in landfill. Retailers spend as much as 66% of the price of a product to process a return. The MySize joint venture with Santista aims to address these issues.
