Triple digit growth was recorded in deliveries of long staple spindles, open-end rotors and double heater false-twist draw texturing machinery while deliveries of short staple spindles grew at double digit rates.
There were sharp increases in deliveries to the textile industries in several individual countries. Turkey became the biggest market for long staple spindles during the year, and there was a significant increase in shipments of single heater false-twist draw texturing machinery to China.
