This latest edition of our flagship series of reports contains statistical data, information and insight into the textile and apparel industries in the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.

The report presents a wealth of information on: exports by destination; imports; and production. Also, it includes information on consumer demand and the retail market in the USA and Argentina. In the USA, imports of textiles and clothing were up in terms of value and volume in 2013 and during January-October 2014.

There was also an increase in exports. Exports from Argentina were higher during January-September 2014 than in the corresponding period of the previous year while imports were lower. In Brazil, exports were up during January-November 2014 following a decline in 2013.

But exports from Colombia fell in 2013 and were also down during January-July 2014. In Mexico, exports increased in 2013 but textile production was down during January-October 2014.
